Daniel E. Diaz is recognized by
Continental Who’s Who among America’s Independent Producers. Throughout his career, Diaz has produced screenplays, features, teleplays and television shows that include: “The Correspondent”, “Dream Actors”, “The Producers”, “The Great America’s Air Race”, “The Great World Air Race” and “Here Cun’Da’Judge”. Aside from motion pictures, Diaz has produced several theatrical releases; among which include: “The Night is on Fire” (English and Spanish versions), “Legionnaire”, “Identical” and “Iditarod Challenge”. He has also produced Movies of the Week (MOW) including: “Like Father Like Son”, “Ocala”, “If I came Back”, “And When I Die…”, “A Love From The Past”, “Hey Joe”, “Viewfinder”, “Trick or Treat”, “Renee”, “Matador”, “Time Life”, “Pageantry”, “Carlota, a Puerto Rican Legend”, “Floyd and Elsie”, “Last Unwritten Orders”, “Flag Orders”, “Polk”, “The Ink Spots”, “Now I Lay Me”, “Judy” and “Dancing in The Streets”.
Aside from producing motion pictures and theatrical releases, Diaz has also authored several novels; including: “Jubilee”, “For Your Love”, “Pageantry”, “Battle of the Bands” and “Silence is Golden”, all through Vista Publications Group. He also wrote, “The Great Air Race”— a 525-page novel released by Brentwood Publications, that he has re-released, adding 75 pages. His first novel “For Your Love” is currently in print stages and being optioned in Hollywood, CA. Some of his novels have been inspired by his interest in aircraft and flying as Diaz is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
Diaz has recently released “American Aviators and Living Legends”. He also has four reality TV shows in production; the first being “The Great Air Race.” Upcoming, Diaz has four additional book releases, three reality TV Shows and one theatrical release, which was featured at National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) in January 2009.
Before pursuing his successful, and now thriving career in the film industry, Diaz worked for the Department of Defense in West Germany for 17 years, at a rank of GS11- (p). It was also in Germany where Diaz earned a Master’s of Science in Film and Television and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Diaz used his education to teach others in workshops on film production, at colleges all over the U.S. Diaz has been featured in Hollywood Producers Story Directory; and will be seen more and more in the industry as his upcoming TV shows are premiered and his books are released.
